National Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium "Giordano Bruno"

The National Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium "Giordano Bruno" were officially opened on May 24, 1962. The planetarium was the first in Bulgaria and on the Balkan Peninsula. The complex is located in the"N.Y. Vaptsarov" park and includes a ‘star’ hall with 60 seats, a building with offices and classrooms, an observation pavilion with two telescopes.
